You will prepare and cook your meal enjoying a day hands-on cookery class with expert cooks from the village. A combination of hands-on cooking and demonstrations suitable for all level of knowledge. There are top tips and secrets to make perfect fresh pasta and you will discover them making your own “pasta fresca”! You will also prepare a tempting sauce to accompany your pasta dish using the freshest ingredients from the local market.
Old Village Tour
You will have a tour in the Old Village to discover the history, the Castle, the Cathedral and Trabucco of the Medieval Village. A visit to the Cathedral will be very interesting because it houses the relics of San Timothy, disciple of Apostle Paul. San Timothy’s relics hidden in 1239 by the venerable Bishop Stephen were discovered during the works of the crypt of the Cathedral of Termoli in 1945… After the tour, dinner in town with your new friends enjoying local food and wine.

You will enjoy visiting one of the most beautiful places of Molise countryside where a award-winning extra virgin olive oil is produced, sold all over the World in the most important specialty shops. You will be guided through the Estate, owned by an ancient Italian noble family, by visiting the 70 hectares olive grove, with different cultivars and 18000 olive trees, and the olive mill to learn how extra-virgin olive oil is made from the olive harvest to the bottling as well as to recognize a good extra virgin olive oil from the mediocre one. You will also be surprised by the citrus as well as infused extra-virgin olive oils.
Lunch in the garden in the shadow of an ancient tree and a good glass of wine.
Relax | Free to do some sightseeing
In the early afternoon you will go back to Termoli for a rest or for sightseeing.
Dinner in town with typical products of the land in a friendly atmosphere.

You will visit Bagnoli del Trigno, a charming Medieval Village located near a rocky massif called “la Preta” that stands between the river Trigno and the river Vella and it is dominated by the Lombard Castle.The landscape is picturesque and for this called “the Fairyland” or “the Pearl of Molise”. You will explore the historic center, entering the alleys of the village up to the ancient Church of San Silvestro, set between two walls of rock, feeling part of the village. Family lunch at a private house in the village where a local “Mama” will teach you how to make pasta at home just like grandmothers used to make and will offer lunch to the whole group.
In the afternoon time for yourself in the SPA enjoying the thermal baths and discovering the benefits of the salt room pampered with herbal teas and fresh fruits. For those who do not like Spa treatments, there are interesting options such as hiking, trekking, walking paths. Dinner at the Calice Rosso Restaurant. Back to Termoli (it is also possible to stay overnight).

In the morning you will go to Altilia that covers about 12 hectares and is surrounded by defensive walls with four main gates. The layout of the town is clearly visible and its most important structures were its temples, Forum, Basilica, Baths and its ‘Macellum’ or indoor market. The most intact building is the Theatre which is horse-shoe shaped and surrounded by 18th century houses built of stone taken from the theatre itself! These buildings have been completely restored and now are home to the archaeological museum. We will be fascinated by the atmosphere of the Roman time, away from mass tourism. After the visit of Altilia we will visit the area of La Piana dei Mulini that once was a Watermill. In the early nineteenth century it became a farmhouse and a center for the coloring of wool; then it was transformed into a hydroelectric plant. Today, La Piana dei Mulini is a SIC site, a site of European Community Interest and is supervised by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities.
At La Piana dei Mulini you will enjoy a Cooking Class based on ancient Roman recipes with Alessandra, archaeologist and expert in ancient gastronomy. Lunch on your creations enjoying the company of your new friends.
In the afternoon, after a relaxing walk and coffee along the River Biferno, back to Termoli.
After some rest, dinner in town.

In the morning, a cookery class to discover the secrets of easy to follow, traditional nonna’s recipes with a modern twist. Let’s “Roll up our sleeves” and learn about Italian cooking techniques and secrets in a friendly atmosphere.
Farewell Dinner in Termoli to say goodby to your new friends in the hope too meet again one day.
